Why Thinking Big PropTech Prosperity Can Make You Go Woo-Woo-Woo?

Mindset Exercises For Prosperous Land Buyers & Sellers

Since when did thinking become Woo-Woo?

And You Woo-Woo-Woo. And You Wooooo-Woo-Woo-Woo. And You Woo-Woo-Woo. Should be mine all mine.

That’s an old Jeffery Osborne song.

What's the deal with Woo-Woo

I hear people say this is Woo Woo, and that is Woo Woo.

Affirmations, manifestation, setting intentions, meditation.

  1. What’s wrong with Meditation?

  2. What’s wrong with taking a moment to focus on goals and aspirations?

  3. What scientific evidence do you need to show that if someone focuses on a goal long enough, they will achieve it?

Some people are going too far.

I think people are just hating.

“What’s wrong with taking a quiet moment to focus? “

I would love to find a peaceful place and forget all my troubles and let the worries slip away.

No worries, nothing to rush for; just having the luxury to sit and think.

What I've found is that people often taunt what they're jealous of.

They think, "I don't have time for meditation," so they hurry to their next task. This false belief is rooted in the idea that action is everything.

ACTION! ACTION! ACTION!

I hear it all the time.

  • “What are the actionable steps?“

  • “Is this actionable?“

  • “Oh let’s put it into actionable steps. Okay?”

You can move fast and take action, but you may be going in the wrong direction or going in circles. Essentially, you're going nowhere!

Meditation

John D. Rockefeller was quoted as saying,  "If you can't sit and think, you can't be rich.".

I think, J.D. was suggesting that true wealth requires not just hustle, but also the ability to step back, analyze, and strategize.

This can only be done with dedicated time for meditation and  reflection.

Yeah, you can say today is different from the industrial age, as we are moving at a breakneck speed due to technological advances.

But have people changed much?

People have changed so much huh? Not really!

We just have to make a concentrated effort to take time to think. Oh I understand thinking can be hard. You laugh but it’s true.

It’s becoming a lost art.

If you are not careful you can get caught up in the world speeding up and spinning faster?

You get up, brush your teeth and then you're out the door.

Feels like you need to get a jump on the day? Huh?

I saw a post where Denzel Washington explains that the first thing you should do is take 5 minutes of quiet time for yourself. Don't grab your phone. Don't turn on the morning news. Just have a quiet time of morning preparation with yourself.

Moment of Zen & Gratitude

I wish I had employed some of the techniques I'm using today in my youth.

Back then, I was too busy running and moving without enough thinking. Instead, I could have done more planning and less acting.

Anyway, now we have the tools to take the time to sit still and think.

We just need to stop doing some of the things that keep us busy.

  1. Stop doing mindless tasks and participate in mindful exercises.

  2. Start by changing your morning routine and habits.

  3. Then, once you get used to it, add a thinking session into your work day. Set aside some time during the day to make a plan.

  4. Once you have that down, add some reflection time at the end of the day.

  5. Write down what you did well and what you can improve on.

Do these exercises regularly, and you will accomplish your goals faster than before.

By consistently practicing these exercises, you'll accomplish your goals.

Faster than spinning on the hamster wheel of action. You know what I mean?

What's your story? Are You Woo-Woo? What's your perspective on this?
